About the event
Our Goddard School Taekwondo Program is designed to introduce young students to the exciting world of Martial Arts while helping them develop important life skills that will benefit them both in and out of the classroom. Students will learn fundamental Taekwondo techniques in a safe, positive, and encouraging environment while building confidence, coordination, and physical fitness.
Beyond martial arts, the program emphasizes essential character-building values such as self-control, respect, focus, discipline, and perseverance. Through fun, high-energy activities, interactive games, and engaging drills, students stay active while developing healthy exercise habits and a lifelong appreciation for physical activity.
Students also learn the importance of teamwork by participating in partner and group activities that encourage cooperation, communication, and sportsmanship. As they gain confidence, they will have opportunities to develop leadership skills by assisting instructors with group activities, encouraging classmates, and setting a positive example for others.
